We once, again, tried out a different Indian restaurant! This was my favorite thus far; although the very first one we tried was also excellent.
Great location. It's next door to the henna shop where I got my henna art done for our engagement celebration.
The service was excellent, friendly and fast. They have a robot that plays Punjabi music, and delivers your food to your table! I've never been to a restaurant that had a robot waiter. That was so cool!
Very clean restaurant, overall, and a very clean bathroom. They have beautiful decor, including a wall full of framed photos of many Punjabi legends, and historical figures!
Although, it was over 100 degrees outside, my husband insisted I wear pants underneath my dress. Since the restaurant was air-conditioned it was not too hot to wear my outfit. Beautiful, decorative waiting area when you walk in, and wait to be seated.
Just as you enter, there's a lovely, little spot to take photos. I absolutely loved my entire outfit! I will definitely wear it the next time we go to the Gurudwara to pray.
My gorgeous Punjabi Sardar!
A couple deeply in love!
The best part about trying out new restaurants, TOGETHER, aside from the delicious foods; is definitely having so much fun with my husband!
I cook delicious vegetarian meals for us, every single day! It's nice, though, to tryout different Punjabi dishes that are authentic & traditional.
Vegetarian Appetizer
Fried Fish 🐟
Since I'm not a vegetarian, I decided to order this fish appetizer, which was super yummy. It could have been my main course. The sauce that I ate with it was sweet, but super spicy hot! I love the fried fish at all the Indian restaurants we've visited.
Shrimp & Curry
I guess, I had a taste for seafood 😋, because for my main dish I ordered shrimp. Not really a fan of curry dishes, but this was very flavorful.
Garlic Naan Bread
A favorite of ours, roasted garlic naan bread! Every Indian restaurant we've visited has had this delicious bread!
Greens
I can't wait for my Mother to try Indian style greens! Being that my Mother is from the South, I grew up eating greens, and we make them a totally different way.
This was my husband's main dish, and I did try a bite. It was pretty good, just not as good as my Mother's recipe for Southern greens.
I give our entire meal a10 out of 10! I give the restaurant a 5 star rating, and will do so on Google.
One-day I hope my husband will teach me how to cook traditional, authentic Punjabi food! I can't wait for my family to try it!
My husband proudly looking at photos of his heritage!
Plenty of room. Comfy seating. Clean, beautiful atmosphere. Excellent, fast service. Wide selection of delicious dishes, including many vegetarian options. An entertaining robot waiter, Punjabi 🎼 music, and plenty of areas for photo opts.
Plus, it's located in a nice shopping plaza, very close to our home, and close to the Gurudwara where we'll have our wedding ceremony.
All in all, it was undoubtedly an interesting, fun filled day for us! We ALWAYS have fun no matter where we go! Laughter, genuine conversations, great food, bonding; quality times that create life long memories!
I feel its extremely, extremely important to have regular date's in any, and all relationships! Dress up a bit, get dolled up, groom, focus on each other, bring positive energy, have great conversations, learn more about each other; kiss a bit, hold hands, hug, and enjoy life as you feel ultimately blessed 🙌!
I'm without a single, solitary doubt looking forward to our wedding! Soooo much planning has already taken place, and inevitably much more needs to happen. Months away, but we've made awesome progress towards creating a monumental, special day that we'll remember & cherish forever!
