Happy Diwali 2023!

Yesterday was magnificent! Our 1st Diwali together! We got dressed up, took photos, prayed at a beautiful Gurdwara, ate some delicious food, and had such a wonderful time!

I decided not to wear makeup, just some lip liner & gloss. I loved how our Punjabi suits & attire were matching! My husband looked so handsome, omg!

I truly love visiting the Gurdwara every week with my Sardar ji! It's our individual commitment to Waheguru, but also it builds a closer bond between us!

I prayed so long for a husband like I have, now! We're both spiritual, religious people of God, and we're both proud to be Sikh! This was our 1st official time celebrating a cultural/religious holiday together, and many more to come!

There is said to be over 40,000 Punjabi/Sikhs in Fresno, 200,000 in California, and 700,000 in America! Fresno is basically a mini Punjab! I love it here!

A friend of mine who's Punjabi/Sikh, recently told me he's happy I'm now apart of his culture! I said, well I've been Sikh 3 years now, and that made me apart of the culture the day I converted. I've also been with my husband awhile now, and that also directly ties me to the culture!
