This is the perfect style purse for attending a Gurdwara.
I've been using my clutch purses when I go there, and found it too difficult to bow my head to the floor, while holding myself, and lifting myself off the floor.
Don't bring a purse that has no handle, and you have to keep in your hand. You'll need your hands free.
Don't bring a purse that has a long string that you'd place over your shoulder, because the strap will fall down as you bow your head & body down.
Don't use a purse that has a long strap that will go across your body. Although it may stay in place, and keep your hands free; it'll look odd over your dress.
Don't use a huge purse, even if it has a handle that can fit over your wrist. It'll also look odd, and take away from your dress.
You need a fairly small purse. Should not be big & bulky, take away from the beauty of your dress, and stand out.
You just need enough room for your money, ID, small compact mirror, a few small makeup items, your glasses if you wear them, sunglasses, and cellphone.
I got my drawstring purse on Amazon for cheap. I don't think they'll be perfect for long-term, or multiple uses for years, but for at least one trip to the Gurudwara, or a few visits; I think they'll be fine.
Under $15 on Amazon, free shipping if you have Prime.

These small purses with a handle would also be perfect. If I comes witha detachable strap; just make sure you remove it.
Also, don't forget to read the reviews to see if it'll hold your cellphone, glasses, etc.
